Eyota was platted in 1864, and its name comes from the Dakota word meaning “greatest.” Come July, this little town between Rochester and the Whitewater bluffs lives up to it. The big stars-and-stripes celebration here is Eyota Days, the week-long festival built around the third Saturday in July, when Front Street fills up with a parade, a car show, vendors, and a fireworks finale over West Side Park.

This guide rounds up the real, confirmed happenings for July 2026 — town events, the weekly farmers market, parks and water recreation, places to eat, churches, the school district, and a few nearby favorites. Dates and times do change, so a phone number or website link is included wherever possible. Tap a section above to jump straight to what you need.
